Fly Fishing the Tuckasegee River

Posted by on March 22, 2012

The Fly Fishing on the Tuckasegee River has been fantastic the past two weeks!

The almost summer like temperatures have the trout in a feeding frenzy! Tons of aqautic insects are hatching, and you can see rising trout all over the river sipping Caddis, Quill Gordons, and Blue Quills from the surface. Stripping streamer patterns are getting the really big fish to come out and play too. Check out these monsters that have ate our flies the past couple weeks.

Our Float Trip Special has been extended to run through June 1st. This is great news and a smoking deal!

If you have trouble with wading or getting around in a river these days, a Float Trip is the perfect way to get out on the water and fly fish without the worry of falling in swift river currents or on slippery rocks. Fly Fishing from a Drift Boat or Cataraft allows you to cover an entire section of river and cast you fly at virtually every fish in the water.

Our Float Trip Special is a 3/4 day Float Trip on the Tuckasegee River for two people, and includes all gear, rods, reels, waders, boots, leaders, all flies, drink and snacks.

All for only  $225.00
