Guided Wade or Drift Boat Trips for Bass

Fly Fishing the Smokies not only takes you to some of the best trout waters in all of the Smoky Mountains, we bring out the heavy weight rods and chase bass on fly rods and light spin tackle too.

Bass are the Rocky Balboa of the fly fishing world! Forget about subtle takes and gentle presentations, there ain’t nothing sissy about a Bass!  Fly Fishing for Bass is a different kind of rush, one that’s down and dirty and gives you a swift kick in the pants. Kind of like your favorite rock and roll band!

We fish for Smallmouth, Largemouth, Kentucky Spotted Bass, Rock Bass, and White Bass.

We guided anglers on Wade and Float Trips on the Tuckasegee River, Little Tennessee River, and Fontana Lake.

For reservations call (828)-488-7665 or book securely online from our website

White Bass starts it all off in late March, followed by Smallmouth and Rock Bass in Mid May, while Large Mouth, and “Spots” bring it all home by late May. This blitzkrieg of action continues until the end of September.

Along with the various bass species we have, we also regularly catch Walleye, Yellow Perch, Musky, Rainbow Trout, and large meat eating Brown Trout.

Your next kick in the tail feathers is waiting on you… right behind a large rock out in the river! He’ll give you what you’ve been looking for and then some. Just ask yourself one question.. Are you ready for it?!
