Gratuities

A Gratuity for you guide is not required but greatly appreciated. Just like Dinner in a resturaunt, a 15-25% gratuity is customary. Our guides work hard to put you on fish and teach you as much as possible in the time they have with you. In most cases the very flies you are using your guide tied himself, often times the night before your trip. There’s lots of preparation work needed to be a guide, just showing up on a river without ever doing your homework first is a disaster waiting to happen. Our guides know what rivers are fishing best, where the fish are and what flies the trout will eat for a reason, they do their homework. Tipping him shows your appreciation for his hard work.

If you are Late!

We understand that you are on vacation and may run late from time to time. Our guides will wait for you for 30 minutes from your scheduled start time. If we have not heard from you after 30 minutes past your scheduled start time we will have no choice but to leave. Our guides are on schedules where they have multiple trips in a day and have to stay on their schedules. Thank you for your consideration.
